Daniel Hayes was born and raised in Florence, Alabama. He loves the Shoals area and will always call it home. He graduated from Central High School and then attended the University of North Alabama. When he is not working, Daniel enjoys cooking, hanging out on Shoals Creek, participating in water sports, and traveling. He prides himself on being a proud patriot and avid Second Amendment supporter. The love of his life is his golden retriever Nala. Daniel is passionate about helping people get the best price for the property they want to sell or find the property of their dreams.

HISTORY

Beginning with the prehistoric Indian Mound, the Shoals area is ripe with historical monuments and preserved land. Home to the birthplace of both Helen Keller and W.C. Handy, the area also houses landmarks such as the Railroad Bridge, Fame Studios, Muscle Shoals Sound Studios, and Shoals Theater.

THINGS TO DO

The Shoals area is loaded with leisure activities such as shopping, boating and hiking. In addition to local fashion designers like Billy Reid, the area offers numerous strip malls and an indoor mall. Preserved areas such as Cane Creek Nature Preserve and the TVA Reservation Trail are perfect for hiking. The stretch of Tennessee River shared by the quad cities is  perfect for all things boating and is known as the Smallmouth Bass Fishing Capital of the World.

A favorite pastime of the Shoals community is enjoying meals created by local restaurant owners. Looking for the best steak of the Shoals? Check out Standfield's. The best place for drinks is Lil Capone's. Other must-try restaurants include Riverbottom Grille, Newburn's, Ricatoni's and The Rising Crust.
